  Introduction of common rubber machinery and equipment

  It is a machine for preparing rubber or semi-finished products, including raw material processing machinery, rubber mills, extruders, calenders, curtain canvas pretreatment devices and cutting machines.

  

  Rubber mixer:

  The rubber mixer is divided into two types: open and closed.

  Open rubber mill (open mill):

  The double-roller open mixer has been used for production since 1826. Its structure is relatively simple, and it is still commonly used in modern times.

  Mainly used for rubber hot smelting, tabletting, rubber breaking, plastic smelting and mixing. It consists of a roller, a roller bearing, a roller distance adjusting device, an emergency brake device, a frame, a machine base, a transmission device, and a heating and cooling system. The working principle of the open rubber mill is that raw rubber or rubber is pulled into the nip by friction between two rollers rotating at different speeds, and then the plasticity is increased by strong shear and extrusion.

  Closed rubber mixer: (Internal mixer)

  Invented the elliptical rotor closed rubber mixer in 1916

  It is mainly used for plasticizing and mixing of rubber. It has one more mixing chamber than an open mixer. After the raw rubber and the compounding agent are loaded into the mixing chamber from the feeding hopper, the material door is closed, and the upper pin of the material pressing device is pressed down, and the two rotors in the mixing chamber are rotated at different or the same speed. The loaded rubber is continuously stirred, rolled and kneaded between the rotors, the rotor and the mixing chamber, resulting in oxidative chain breaks and increased plasticity. At the same time, the rubber compound is dispersed and uniformly mixed due to the shearing effect, so as to achieve the purpose of rubber mixing. For over 100 years, closed rubber mixers have developed rapidly in the rubber industry. Later, other types of closed rubber mixers appeared. Modern closed rubber mixers have a mixing cycle of 2.5 to 3 minutes, and the maximum capacity of the mixing chamber is 650 liters.

  Extruder:

  Rubber machinery is used to extrude treads, inner tubes, hoses and various rubber profiles. It is also used to cover cable and wire products. Common is a screw extruder. Its working principle is: the rubber material is stirred, mixed, plasticized and compacted in the barrel by the rotation of the extrusion screw, then moved toward the head, and finally a certain shape of product is extruded from the mouth shape. According to the needs of the product, multiple machines can be used for compound extrusion of multiple rubber compounds. The screw extruder is divided into two kinds of hot feeding and cold feeding. Hot-feed extruder usually feeds the pre-heated bar which is preheated by an open mixer. The rubber fed by the cold feed extruder does not undergo hot smelting, and the hot smelting equipment can be omitted.

  Calender:

  It is mainly used for the glue sticking or wiping of curtain canvas, the laminating of rubber materials, the laminating pressing and embossing. The main working part of a calender is a roller. The number of rollers is usually 3 or more. When a compound with a certain temperature and plasticity is fed into the gap between the rollers facing each other, it is strongly squeezed and extended under the action of friction to form the desired product. The first calender was made in 1857 and used for production, and has continued to improve since then. Especially since the 1950s, the development of the plastic industry has strongly promoted the improvement of high-precision, high-speed calenders. In order to obtain rolled products with a uniform thickness, new calenders are generally provided with roll deflection compensation devices. The thickness of the rolled semi-finished products is measured with special equipment, and some calenders are also equipped with an electronic computer-controlled thickness adjustment system.

  Rubber cutting machine

  The rubber slitting machine is a commonly used mechanical device. Its main function is to help users to quickly cut rubber. The cutting efficiency is more than ten times that of manual cutting. Such a high-efficiency rubber cutting machine is specially made for rubber production enterprises. The production of rubber cutting machines saves a lot of labor costs and greatly improves the cutting efficiency.

  Rubber trimming machine
